Our Enthronement
For some time now, I’ve thought about what it would be like to enthrone the Sacred Heart of Jesus in our home. While we were in Costa Rica this summer, we were looking for a nice statue but the really nice sized ones that had great
detail were really heavy and not cost effective to ship. While in Cartago, we were visiting the Basilica at Our Lady of Queen of Angeles and saw a really nice picture, almost like a shadow-box, that I fell in love with and would fit in a suitcase.Well, we brought it home and it’s been setting up on a mantel I hung for it awaiting the day of our Enthronement rite. Well, that night was tonight and Father along with his assistant and good friend of ours celebrated the Sacred Mass in our home. What an awesome experience! To receive our Lord in our own home and now having him King of our home is an honor. Thank you Lord Jesus! We welcome you and praise you as living proof of God’s immeasurable love. My heart burns for you as your heart burns for us. We love and honor you Lord.
